Our Foster Puppies;
Hank and Willie
I wanted to share the story of these two amazing pups! It all began when a friendly female black mouth curr mix followed us home from the town square to my father-in-law's house. While my husband and I were carrying a pizza box, we greeted this adorable dog, and from that moment on, she decided that we were her people. After unsuccessful attempts to locate her original home, we brought her home to join our other pets. She is playful, affectionate, and gets along well with our other dogs and cat. We've named her Sadie and hope to find her a loving forever home.
When we found Sadie, it seemed she had recently given birth to puppies. Fast forward four months 12 miles from where we found Sadie, something unexpected happened. My husband was at our place waiting for a contractor, and while driving to meet him on our dirt road, a puppy unexpectedly approached and hopped into his cart. The puppy spent the entire day in his cart, and later in the day, near where the first puppy appeared, the second one did, too. My husband was certain that these two puppies must be Sadie's. It turned out they were, indeed, her pups. She was overjoyed to see them and immediately began mothering them. It was a heartwarming moment. So now, along with Sadie, we have Hank and Willie.
These sweet, loving boys need a forever home. They are fixed, up-to-date on shots, crate-trained, and have started leash training. The boys get along well with our other dogs. If you want to adopt one or both boys, please call or text me at 979.830.3810.
